Ricardo and Nick from Princes Hill Secondary College - RYPEN Camp
Speakers Ricardo and Nick from Princes Hill Secondary College spoke on their experiences at the RYPEN Camp. As teenagers they were confused and unsure about their futures’ On the Friday afternoon, Ricardo and Nick were accompanied on the camp by Ian and Anne Ada.
They were broken into red and Green groups. They awoke on Saturday to the sound of Drums in the foyer. During the day they did dancing activities, public speaking and exercises to strengthen trust and co-operation i.e. Canoing. They also listened to a speaker on Cambodia talking about their Rotary Project.
On Sunday they held a value auction where one of the participants went bankrupt. In Summary they both felt they had learnt friendship, leadership and confidence during the camp. They thanked the Rotary Club of Carlton for supporting them
