Rocar - International Award Winning Project. Bob shared with the Club the origins of the program and how the Rotary Club of Nunawading designed and manufactured the Rocar to assist the mobility of disabled children.
The program received tremendous support & orders from organisations and other Rotary Clubs, the Rotary Club of Nunawading ultimately licensed Cyclops to manufacture the cars in Australia with another manufacturer also building 1000 in the USA.
In total 1900 Rocars were developed during the life of the program thus creating a level of independence in the lives of kids who received the car.
