Dr Theong Ho Low

Next >

Dr Theong Ho Low, a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club of Flemington and a GP from Flemington shared his charity work with Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children: ROMAC where he was the National Medical and Operation Director but also with his own projects and his foundation. It all started when he took the International Service Avenue with Rotary in 1979.

He shared the team story of medical professionals to Xi’an, China that performed cleft surgeries on 13 orphans. He personally sponsored the Samvedna (means compassion) Project in Mussourie, Uttarakhand, North India providing care for the disabled in the surrounding villages. He showed us a sponsored promotional video and mentioned that they operated on 650 kids.

With Casey Tan and Andrew Swanson, they started a foundation.

As a summary, he said that he is here to help and people don't owe him anything. He still take calls from the lady that was badly burned but could ride a bicycle 2 years later. Looking at the pictures, it looked like a miracle.
