Assistant Governor Anne King

Next >

Anne has been a Rotarian for 18 years and has had many Rotary roles including being a club president.
Anne was in banking and finance and has been in the Not for Profit sector since 2005. She is currently the General Manager, Corporate Services for the Lost Dogs’ Home where she manages Finance, HR and IT.

District 9800 is covering 70 Clubs and approx 2,700 members. To help in its operation, it has 15 assistant governors for 15 formed clusters.

The Cluster called Heritage has 6 Clubs including the Rotary Club of Carlton: Brunswick Tullamarine, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Melbourne Park and Richmond

Anne came to call for collaboration between the clubs in the cluster. Let's do things together. She acknowledge that the District has become more flexible and informal even from the days that Des Jones or Keith Ryall were District Governors. The district gives more leeway to do more.

She reminded us that Peter Frueh and Anne will be visiting the Carlton Rotary on the 26 of September (5 weeks away)

Note:

Next Heritage Cluster meeting: Thursday 7 September

District Conference 16-18th March 2018 in Warrnambool.
