Tony Broughton's watercolours

Tony’s drawings and paintings are based on sketches made while working and travelling in London and Europe in 1968-70, and while working in Sydney in 1971-72 and in Dunedin in 1978. Further business travels, as an architect, in Asia and the Middle East, from 1982 to 2007, provided many subjects for Tony’s paintings. Again, these were made from his on-the-spot sketches, or from his photos, when time, location or climatic conditions became difficult. Tony’s architectural background naturally led to buildings and streetscapes being the predominant subjects for his work.

 30% of the proceeds of the sale of these drawings and paintings will go towards Rotary Club of Carlton projects.
